This is what I saw as I walked up to an estate sale today ... look at this house! I was told it was built in 1891, had been in the same family since the 1940s, but that no one had lived there for about 20 years. There was a little bird nest right over the front door.
But no one was allowed in! The contents of the home were being brought outdoors. Lots of furniture, including this charming little yellow bookcase that I just could not pass up (especially with the quirkly little top piece missing!)
So no paper goods, but there's another sale tomorrow, so fingers crossed!
