Lutradur book with Lesley Riley

I had the good fortune to take a class with Lesley Riley http://lesleyriley.typepad.com/ this weekend, where she taught her Lutradur Mini Book. We used this durable material to make a charming book and incorporated a number of techniques, including ink jet transfer and even melting with the Creative Textile Tool. What fun! I used some goodies from the store's ephemera packs http://thepaperfleamarket.com/paper-ephemera-pack.html to embellish some of my pages. Below are images of my finished book.
We melted the page on the right with a heat gun.
We used embossing powder on the right-hand page ... gorgeous!
We used Transfer Artist Paper (www.transferartist.com) to iron-on the background image on the right-hand page.
On the right page we melted the flowers, cut out the leaf shapes and created the scalloped edging with the Creative Textile Tool.
