Southern charm
I just love the South ... the ocean, the salt marshes, the huge live oak trees dripping with Spanish Moss. And the antiques. Stopped in adorable Walterboro, SC, last week. They boast over 12 antique shops in this little town plus the SC Artisans Center. I wanted to give Walterboro a shout out because it was very quiet the day I was there, and it seemed they could use a few more visitors. So if you're ever driving down I-95, take exit 53 in South Carolina and enjoy a couple hours in Walterboro ... and buy something!

Published!
Excited to share that one of my creations was included in the current issue of GreenCraft magazine (a Stampingon publication). It's a notepad made with endpages, an old book cover and some fabulous raw silk ribbon. I love the look and feel of endpages, and one day decided to bind a bunch and make a fun little notepad.
This inspired me further to create and post an endpages bundle. Pair this with the the book cover bundle and some of our perfect ribbon, and you can make your own cool, refillable notepad! http://www.thepaperfleamarket.com/

CREATE-ing goody boxes
Anybody out there going to the CREATE Mixed Media Retreat in Illinois later this month? Sponsored by Interweave (the Cloth, Paper, Scissors folks), the retreat is a "weekend of mixed media design and technique workshops with the country’s most renowned artists." The Paper Flea Market was given the opportunity to be a goody bag sponsor, so I've been having fun putting together 250 boxes of paper treasures! So excited!

Unfortunately, I won't be attending the retreat this year. Looks like I'll be missing some fantastic classes!
If you go, please drop me a line. I'd love to hear how you like your goody box!
