Thinking about Oklahoma

Just can't stop watching the news coming out of Oklahoma ... my heart feels heavy ...

Brimfield 2013

Spent 3 days treasure hunting in Brimfield last week ... and spent the last 24 hours unpacking, napping and scrubbing the dirt from under my fingernails. In other words, I had a great time! Here are just a few highlights ...

I got to drive the truck home this time. I went with my dear girls from The Barn on Sweetwood who buy big stuff so that's why we have the truck. The drive is much sweeter with the world's best whoopie pie from ...to the Queen's Taste (pastries to read English Mysteries by!) and a piece of truck-driving ephemera found just hours earlier!

Unloading + posting

Just got back from treasure hunting in Brimfield where I filled and emptied my cart about 5 times each day! Have started posting my finds to the store ... jump over and take a look!

Journal potential...

Keeping a visual journal is one of my favorite things to do. And one of my favorite formats is a fabulous old ledger or record book like this one. I'd keep this, but my pile of "journals-to-be" is getting mighty high. So I posted it to the store today ... it can be yours!

A rainy day is a good day to post to the store. Got these over the weekend ... how adorable are they? Glass vintage injection bottles have removable rubber top. I feel the need to add they've never been used. I think I'll fill some with colorful sparkles to brighten this very gray day ...

Mind dump Monday

Blogging is hard.

Whenever there's something interesting to write about, there's no time. And when there's nothing interesting to write about, there's loads of time. That's been my problem lately. It seems since Christmas, I've been working and traveling and gathering and creating. And meeting deadlines ... one after another ... after another.

I make cards to sell. And make stuff to sell. And have an online ephemera store. And an Etsy store. All these areas of my life have a different "brand" and I've been thinking I want to put them under one big all-encompassing name. So that's been on my mind. For about a year.

Oh, and we bought a house last fall that needs some serious TLC before we can move in, so I've been thinking about that, too.
