A Day in DC

This morning I thought I'd just have a lazy day. Around noon, I changed my mind and headed downtown to DC. Glad I did or I wouldn't have seen...

A giant typewriter eraser sculpture ... (I've got a mini one of these at the store right now!)

a light display called H2O (the smaller lights are the Hs and the larger are the Os) ...

this installation by Barbara Kruger ...

an outstanding typographic sculpture ...

and an albino squirrel ... did you evah?!

Have fun today!

You never know where you're going to hear a little tidbit of wisdom. This quote came from my guide when I was ziplining last week (yes, ziplining in South Carolina!) Deep down, I think it's something we all know. But it's good to hear from somebody else, so I thought I'd just journal it and put it out there for anyone who happens to stop by.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go out and have some fun today ... hope you do, too!
